24 ft Kenner center console.The biggest and safest bay boat ever built. She has a fully remote controlled trolling motor capable of holding any position desired, eliminating the need of throwing a noisy fish-spooking anchor. The boat has a new high tech side scan sonar capable of seeing gamefish 150 ft to either side of the boat and capable of finding fish holding structure 200 ft to each side.   She has a VHF radio for coast guard and boat to boat communications. We are always within cell phone range, so guests can stay in touch with family and friends.   

Your trip will start with a warm greeting and a short safety on the water talk, and then an explanation of the day's plans. I'll answer any questions and point out points of interest.
There are always dolphins playing and feeding just outside of the marina, and giant oil rigs are close by.There will be crab traps and shrimp boats and huge cargo and Navy ships coming and going from Mobile, just 30 miles north of Mobile Bay.
Ft Morgan Marina and Tacky Jacks is located at 1577 Hwy 180 west, a short easy drive from Gulf Shores, Al. You can have your fresh catch cooked 3 ways right there at Tacky Jacks, and take it from me, it's delicious and as fresh as it gets.
If the weather is too bad to fish, we will not go and you will not pay anything. I want your trip to be as fun and comfortable as possible, so you and your friends will come back to catch more next time.
We can pull the shrimp net just like commercial shrimp boats do and catch fresh shrimp and baitfish. It is great fun for the kids to sort through all the different forms of sea life that we catch in the shrimp trawl. We might even catch a beer can or two just like Forrest Gump did.
